About You
As the Life Cycle Management (LCM) Leader for Intimate and Professional Care in our International Family Care and Professional (IFP) segment, your primary objective will be overseeing and managing our Dry Bath Tissue and Tissue Wipers categories in Western Europe. You will provide product and process expertise and technical leadership for the development and implementation of Design To Value (DTV) and local renovation plans, ensures business continuity and compliance of materials and products.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the launch of centrally led innovation projects and champion of consumer interests
You will report to the IFP Dry Tissue LCM Senior Team Leader and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).
Location: Mill based in Koblenz Mill (Germany). We could also consider candidates based in Salamanca Mill (Spain).
Travel: There will be up to 25% travel involved with this role, possibly more at the early stages to learn the process, assets and develop your network in our matrix organization.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Design To Value:

Accountable for DTV target delivery in their area of responsibility, influences and manages stakeholders End to End through target setting, technical development and program implementation to ensure R&D targets are met.

Leads the management of DTV initiatives within their Business Unit from idea to implementation, including any technical development and through change control and IMF (Innovation) processes as relevant.
Business continuity:
-
Leads and coordinates with local team all trial and project work related to business continuity programs on materials & product trials and qualification.

Champions the interests of consumers and product quality by interfacing with Operations, Marketing and Quality. Partner with Quality, and marketing to identify & challenge quality issues and drive mill teams to develop plans to address them whilst providing required technical support.
Innovation:

Ensure technical readiness through hand over with Product Development Team for the implementation of centrally designed innovation.

Owns the end to end development and implementation of locally-led innovation or renovation projects in collaboration with the local teams.
Stakeholder management:

Acts as the local expert for their product and manufacturing processes.

Manages and anticipates all communication needs to key stakeholders and escalates as appropriate to senior leadership to get timely support
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
-
Bachelor Degree in a major scientific or engineering discipline and broad knowledge of the production and/or product development processes.

Previous significant professional experience in product development/ manufacture, ideally of tissue products, alternatively of other fast moving consumer goods

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.

Demonstrated influencing skills, ability to manage without authority to drive projects quickly and effectively utilizing project management, lean capabilities and communication skills

Solid problem-solving skills with understanding of process development/process control, and an eye for creative solution and optimization opportunities
-
Competent with data handling and working with systems, and experience with statistical analysis and software

Fluent English and local language proficiency preferred.
