In this role, you will:
Position Description
The EM Personal Care Innovation Engineer plays a critical role to deliver Kimberly-Clark Enterprise Market(EM) results . This role is responsible for partnering with the R&D product developers and LCMs to develop innovation & Cost-saving, engineering solutions to set the short to medium product innovation plans for categories in EM. Delivering the innovation plans on time with highest quality – as well as ensuring fast and max adoption (from other regions and across the region) considering supply complexity and financial optimization. Develop solutions to address key local markets challenges/opportunities that can’t be adopted. This role reports to EM R&D capability team leader. This role requires a highly collaborative individual living the performance driven culture, who can work closely with senior cross functions and ABU teams and manage complex product matrix of different formats and different mills capabilities.
Responsibilities

Innovation strategy : Work with R&D and supply chain partners to develop the 0-3 year product & process innovation development plan for EM, to support the EM growth and to meet KPIs.

Innovation delivery: Deliver the 0-3 year product innovation pipeline across Personal care categories to support the strategical growth in key lead markets. Work with Supply Chain, and other R&D functions under adopt first and adjust to EM needs (formats, mill capabilities, cost). Move fast - Overcome barriers for fast implementation cross markets and formats.

Develop and optimize equipment and processes that meet innovation success criteria, safety codes, policies and guidelines.

Requirements

+7 years of experience in R&D innovation engineering or supply chain engineering. Professional background in engineering, process & product development. Adopt & Apply from other regions/sectors/categories

Experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as: statistical process control, design of experiments, process capability studies, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.

Ability to resolve complex problems and translate market observations to business opportunities.

A demonstrated ability to work independently, or as part of a team while providing task-oriented direction to others to complete projects within required timeframes.

Strong capability to make decision and to drive for clear decisions and actions. Analytical and fact-based decision-making skills with strong intuition, be able to “connect the dots” and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work and influence across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility and strong business leadership

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
