Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the VP Insights & Analytics will elevate Kimberly-Clark’s (K-C) insights and analytics function, benchmarking with the best-of-the-best in the industry. S/he will lead a team responsible for driving consumer closeness and actionable business insights, propelling performance through setting standards, spurring innovative approaches, and accelerating a modern data-driven approach.
This leader will drive holistic solutions across marketing and commercial functions via integrated, multi-purpose platforms combining sources, methods, and processes. She/he will create a community of practice and ongoing development among insights leaders across the organization.
Role & Responsibilities
More specifically, the VP Insights & Analytics will:

Advance best-in-class insights against five knowledge platform areas:

Profiling consumers
-
Identifying white space
-
Assessing ideas/concepts
-
Implementing and optimizing in market
-
Measuring performance
-

Deliver Insights as a Service to the K-C enterprise across a range of syndicated and unstructured data as well as custom research

Set the product strategy for a centralized self-service hub for business units to leverage on an ad hoc basis

Own decision-rights on global external data needs and vendor selection with input from segment business leaders

Set standards and guidelines for global research in business units and innovate on ways of research

Manage analytics for commercial use cases including digital marketing, customer/retailer analytics, eCommerce, etc.

Partner with the global technology and business services organizations to strengthen K-C’s data collection, analysis, and self-service capabilities

Translate data-science work into analytics that are business and outcome-oriented
Professional Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following key qualifications and skills:
-
15+ years of deep experience in insights and analytics leadership for highly matrixed organizations, utilizing syndicated and unstructured data as well as customer research (ideally in the CPG industry)

Track record of leveraging insights for delivering strategic business leadership and sustained competitive advantage

Success developing best-in-class insights & analytics organizations as a CoE for a global enterprise

Strong base of analytical skills with the ability to assess, interpret, translate, and integrate learning from multiple sources to influence organizational decisions and strategies

Proven ability building infrastructure capabilities that enable data driven marketing platforms to be used in a centralized, global, self-service model

Ability to partner with global technology and business services organizations to deliver unstructured data into structured technology platforms

Business-minded and strategic thinker with proven experience implementing effective metric tracking standards that provide insights on trends, competition, innovation, measurement of brand health and overall market penetration

Effective communicator & inspirational leader with a proven ability to gain followership of a global insights & analytics team and the broader enterprise

Ability to think strategically to shape business strategy, considering the right balance on internal and external solutions and leveraging technology where applicable

Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree preferred

Salary Range: 272,820 – 352,660 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
