Business Priorities:

Ensures that the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently. Be accountable for the posting and payment transactions within the financial business commitments. You will need to maintain stables our KPI´s, oversee the end to end processes, and uphold the company’s policies and image with customers and suppliers, therefore contributing to its growth.

Role Purpose: 

The AP Manager will have direct management of Accounts payable team to ensure stable operations in compliance with Accounts payable policies, achieve key performance indicators while drive process improvements and efficiencies to improve performance.

The AP Manager it’s an expert on AP process, that builds partnership with business, GBS and STP peers to drive performance improvement, process efficiencies, manage escalations and drive resolution of complex queries.

Role Accountabilities: 

  • Direct management of AP Team Leaders, monitor operations (including oversight and approval of write-offs), accounts payable balances, KPI performance and maintain a strong environment of controls ensuring adherence to CFI’s, SOX controls and accounts payable policies and procedures.

  • Be the expert on AP providing insight, analytics, and consultancy to the wider organization.

  • Manage the escalations process and drive resolution of complex queries.

  • Drive initiatives related to working capital and Free cash Flow.

  • Develop process measurements and new control metrics to proactively monitor/improve process.

  • Identify and drive implementation of CI opportunities

  • Build and maintain a network with business, GBS/STP peers to seek process standardization, automation and industry best practises. Leverage on RPA’s, tools and system to maximize accounts payable performance.

  • Manage staff performance and development through Culture of Coaching methodology.

  • Network with business to keep up to date with regulations, ensure adherence of processes, and proactively communicate to stakeholders for process opportunities and breakdowns.

  • Ensure processes are documented, updated, reliable and complies with global policies.

            

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, or related field.

  • Over 7 years with Accounts Payable experience or similar position, including at least 2 years plus team management experience.

  • Fluent level of English. (Portug desirable.

  • Advance SAP knowledge.

  • Advance communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proven track record in developing talent, capabilities, and setting strategies and KPIs.

  • Proven record of driving results through partnering with other teams.

  • LEAN CI Competency.

  • Business and Finance knowledge, including strong analytical capabilities and financial statements analysis.

  • Taulia & Coupa knowledge desirable.
