Kimberly-Clark (K-C) Millicent Mill is celebrating an enormous feat of 65 years in manufacturing in Australia! In our first year of operations, we produced approximately 4,000 tonnes of toilet paper and tissue. Today, we produce approximately 85,000 tonnes per year.
About the Opportunity
This position is located at our Millicent Mill and will span for a fixed term period of 2 years. Our Graduate Program is designed to provide the right experience, exposure and education to develop our future leaders and technical experts. As a Graduate Process Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in multiple departments across the business and gain exposure to World Class Manufacturing.
We want to provide you with a solid foundation and we believe that you’ll enjoy the variety of work, interaction and the opportunities to contribute and make a difference. You will participate in the Performance and Development Program with a focus on your Development Plan. You’ll work with a team that provides and asks for feedback by championing a Culture of Accountability.
What you will Do
- Build on existing programs related to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement
- Work on projects related to key areas of production lines ensuring KPI’s are delivered across safety, quality, and cost
- Take leadership responsibility for delivery of projects through people and cross functional stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualifications in Chemical Engineering (or similar)
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficient user of MS Office product suite
- As someone with strong analytical skills, you are also able to plan and organise at a high level
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or similar Root Cause problem identification will set you up for success in our program
