Meet Evandro L.R., one of Kimberly-Clark's Principal Quality Specialists who is a great example of career growth and development that’s available to all at Kimberly-Clark. With more than 20 years of experience at Kimberly-Clark, Evandro has held various roles within the company, allowing him to grow and develop his Career at Kimberly-Clark in exciting ways. 
Evandro's journey at Kimberly-Clark began in 2003 as a Quality Technical Inspector at our former Mogi das Cruzes (Brazil) facility. After three years, he moved to the Kimberly-Clark Suzano facility as a Jr. Quality Engineer, where he honed his skills in this area before transitioning to a Process Engineer role in the Wet Wipes and Adult Care categories of our business. In 2010, he joined the Lean Manufacturing team in the Training & Development area, where he worked until 2011 when he returned to the Mogi das Cruzes facility as a Quality Engineer. Fast forward a few years, lots of experiences and several roles later, Evandro is currently a Principal Quality Specialist in the Latin America Quality Engineering area where he is responsible for Supplier Management activities in Brazil. 
When asked how he evaluates his career at Kimberly-Clark, Evandro says proudly, “I've made more dreams come true than I ever imagined.” 
Beyond his activities focused on the positions he has already held, Evandro carries with him a mission that he says has transformed his life. “Before, as a black man, I didn't think much about the importance of discussing diversity. However, everything changed when I was invited to speak at an event for Kimberly-Clark's affinity (Employee Resource) group for black people. There, I realized that I could help change many stories and since 2021 I have been co-leader of the company's racial diversity pillar.” 
Looking to the future, Evandro plans to empower himself even more in his new activities in quality engineering, bringing greater commitment and spreading his knowledge to new and old colleagues, acting clearly in compliance with the company’s quality procedures and processes. 
When asked what he would tell his friends and family if they were thinking of working at Kimberly-Clark, Evandro said, "Come in with a strong desire to make a difference, be open to learning, be authentic, empower yourself with the knowledge we develop here, have respect for your peers, internal and external customers, and fulfill the purpose of the company."
